Snowbird Hawthorn

Crataegus x mordenensis 'Toba'
Appearance:  Small ornamental tree with fragrant double white spring flowers that turn to sparse red berries in the summer. Features an upright, rounded, compact form with dark green leaves that may turn yellow in fall.  Known Sharp thorns on its branches, so these trees must be placed with that in mind.  

Care and Maintenance:  Extremely cold hardy. Thrives in well drained soils but is adaptable to various soil types other than standing water. Drought tolerant when established. Benefits from late winter pruning.
