Appearance: Small accent tree with fantastic autumn interest. White clustered flowers turn into bright orange/red berries from spring to fall. Shiny olive bark makes for mild winter interest. Unlike the spreading European Mountain Ash, 'Black Hawk' is known for a tighter, pyramidal shape.
Care and Maintenance: Relatively low maintenance. Prune in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Red berries attract birds. Requires well-drained soil.
