Appearance:  Slow-growing maple with dark green foliage that turns antique red in the fall. Round growth habit with a high canopy (7'). 

Care and Maintenance:  HIgh maintenance tree that requires upkeep and pruning, It is highly adaptable and tolerant of varying conditions such as alkaline soils, drought, moist or dry soils, urban pollution and inner city environments. Requires full sun. Prune in late summer after the leaves have fully developed (may bleed sap if pruned too early). Does not do well in heavy clay soils.
