Appearance: Honeycrisp Apple features clusters of lightly-scented white and pink-hued flowers. Spring buds are pink, leaves are a deep green that turn yellow in the fall. The tree fruits in early fall. Fruit is sweet with a crisp texture (hence the name) that are great for fresh eating and cooking.
Care and Maintenance: Requires regular care and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. Under ideal conditions they can live up to 50 years. Prefers average to moist soil and is not particular about pH, Highly tolerant of urban pollution and does well in city environments.
